- In-Store Quotes: Prices quoted in-store are valid for 7 days from the date of quote unless otherwise specified

- Special Orders: For items requiring special order, prices are confirmed at the time of order placement and deposit payment
3.4 Price Confirmation
The final price will be confirmed:
- At the time of purchase for in-stock items
- Upon order confirmation for special order items
- Before delivery arrangement for all purchases
If prices increase after you have paid a deposit but before final payment, we will notify you of the price change and you may choose to:
- Accept the new price and proceed with the purchase
- Cancel the order and receive a full refund of any payments made
4. Orders and Purchase Process
4.1 Order Acceptance
- All orders are subject to acceptance by Alex Furniture
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion
- Order confirmation does not guarantee product availability
4.2 Payment Terms
- Full payment is required for in-stock items before delivery
- For special orders, a minimum deposit of 50% is required, with balance due before delivery
- Accepted payment methods: Cash, EFTPOS, Credit Card, Bank Transfer
- Payment plans may be available by arrangement – separate terms apply
4.3 Special Orders
- Special orders require written confirmation and deposit
- Special order items are non-refundable unless faulty
- Delivery timeframes for special orders are estimates only
- Prices for special orders are locked in upon deposit payment and order confirmation
5. Delivery and Collection
5.1 Delivery Service
- Delivery is available within our service area for an additional charge
- Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed
- Customer must be present to receive delivery and inspect items
- Additional charges may apply for difficult access deliveries
5.2 Collection
- Customers may collect purchases from our Alexandra store
- Items must be collected within 30 days of purchase completion
- Storage fees may apply for items not collected within the specified timeframe
5.3 Risk and Title
- Risk passes to the customer upon delivery or collection
- Title remains with Alex Furniture until full payment is received
6. Returns and Exchanges
6.1 Return Policy
- Returns are accepted within 14 days of purchase for in-stock items in original condition
- Special order items cannot be returned unless faulty
- Customer is responsible for return delivery costs unless item is faulty
- Refunds will be processed using the original payment method
6.2 Faulty Products
- We will repair, replace, or refund faulty products in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
- Faults must be reported within a reasonable time of discovery
- We may require inspection of allegedly faulty items before accepting returns

- Warranty claims should be directed to us in the first instance
